A growing puppy should be allowed to eat as much as it wants. The required amount to achieve proper growth can vary with your puppies age, so let him decide how much he needs. As he grows, you will be able to judge his dietary needs and help him maintain a healthy weight through proper food choice and portion size.

Malamutes are a double coated dog. They need frequent grooming to maintain a shiny coat. While many people say you must brush them daily, we believe it depends on the dog and his activity. Certainly a weekly brushing at least will keep him happy and provide wonderful bonding time for you and your dog.
